Last week, I enjoyed a fantastic and much needed holiday with my wife and family in South Wales. Of course I had to do my homework before we went and searched out the nearest record shop.
Tangled Parrot is situated in King Street, Carmarthen and is just a short walk away from St.Catherine's shopping centre.
Underneath the shop is The Parrot Music Bar which serves craft beer and at night hosts live music.
Upstairs and into the shop, it is obvious that this is a great place for a true music lover. The owner is knowledgeable, friendly and seems to enjoy chatting to his customers. The shop is well stocked with both cds and vinyl, with new releases and a great used section. Everything is well organised and most genres are covered, there is something for everyone.

It's one of those shops that you wish was a lot closer to home but I'll be certainly returning when I go back to South Wales. The owner also has another branch in market town and book lover's paradise, Hay On Wye.
